Just be sure to be on your phone at least half your shift. Clock in more less than 5 minutes late and take twice that coming back from break. Take several smoke breaks but be sure not to tell anyone you’ve gone for one. Probably forgetting something but I’m sure you’ll figure it out

No screen time before going to bed, wake up early and arrive early at work, never look at your phone at work, ask questions, ask for help, try to communicate with your colleagues, don't forget to be friendly and don't forget that first impressions are so important! Wish you good luck!

It's normal. Everybody is stressed on their first day. If there's something you don't understand or forgot : ask. Don't put more pressure on yourself and your coworkers by trying to go around something because you don't know how to do it exactly.

Okay, clearly, I'm the only one here that will give out to you straight. Works sucks. The reason is not the actual work, that's usually okay. It's the idiots you end up working with. Most of your co-workers will be idiots who seem to have the sole purpose of everyone's life miserable. No matter how smart, good, or careful you are, at least a few of your co-workers also think you are an idiot. Don't take it personal. That being said, my advice is actually to not worry about it, just be mentally prepared. Humans like yourself have gone to work for literally thousands of years and it worked out okay. Just go with it, be chill, try not to make others' lives more miserable than they are, and you'll be good!

Ask questions, ask why are things done that way, dont be shy to make notes if there is too much information, try to remember your colleagues - they can help a lot during the process... But most importantly remember everyone was new at one point and had to go through this start as you do, noone was born experienced
