Effective help in getting to sleep

Ambien was too powerful. Benedryl can work but Doxylamine Succinate works well for me consistently. I can sense that it is a bit harder to wake up and be alert the next morning. Not having had enough sleep is worse. Also - there are no children here to be protected by the blister packaging so I much prefer not having to deal with that.

I take it every night

I use this as allergy relief and enjoy the fact that it also makes me sleepy. My 24-hr allergy pill doesn't actually last 24 hours, and since I have problems with dust mites, it's very helpful for me to take something before bed. The active ingredient in Benadryl (and any generic versions) is pretty dehydrating; the doxylamine in this generic version of Unisom is also an antihistamine (which is what Benadryl/diphenhydramine is) and is the active ingredient in Nyquil cold capsules (only the capsules, not the bottles of liquid). I have never found doxylamine as a standalone drug until I found Unisom, where it's branded as a sleep aid, so now I've been buying this for the last couple of years and taking one before bed every night. My eyes are less puffy and I'm less congested when I take it and it doesn't dehydrate me the way Benadryl does; I've been very happy with it and I'm glad I can now buy bottles of it on Amazon.

Best Sleep Aid Ever

This is the best sleep aid (AT THE BEST PRICE) I've ever found or tried. And I've been around the block with several different products. This one works the best for me, and when I do need to take it, usually 1/2 or 1/3 of a whole pill does the trick for me. I'll never buy it in a store again because this price just can't be beat. Highly recommended.

Started dreaming again

I find that these pills are very effective. Before it would take me a long time for my mind to wind down and actually fall asleep. Then all night I would toss and turn. I couldn't remember the last time that I had vivid dreams before I started taking these pills. I would also continually yawn throughout the day like I hadn't had a good night sleep. Now I take these pills 30 minutes before I go to sleep and sleep all through the night. Every night I have vivid dreams because I am getting deep rem sleep. I do not yawn throughout the day and feel well rested. I highly recommend these if you have trouble getting to sleep or trouble staying asleep. The one downside is that it is a little hard to get up in the morning, I feel drowsy still in the morning. But once I am up, I am ready to go for the day.

These are just as good as Unisom Sleep Tabs at a fraction of the price. The drugstore will appreciate the reduction in shrinkage if people would just buy these. This has the same ingredient to induce drowsiness as NyQuil. Not ZZZQuil, But NyQuil. ZZZQuill uses Diphenhydramine, same as Benadryl which in many can cause excitedness. In my case it causes flashes when I close my eyes. I don't know whose idea it was to label such medication as a sleep aid, but it isn't a good call. This however, Doxylamine Succinate is the good stuff.

Love this sleep aid

Because I have a sleep disorder, I had to find help. Since I am unable to acquire prescription medication right jpnow, after much research, I found this product along with 10mg of Melatonin works perfectly. I will continue to hexadecimal have nonprescription again.

GOODNIGHT.

Try only taking half. I am such a light sleeper, I rarely get a full nights rest. This works so well! It does give me vivid dreams, and I want to sleep in (which I normally never can.) Sometimes can be groggy but that is fine because least I slept.
